WHAT IS THE PORTO TREATMENT CENTER?
The Porto Treatment Center is a State certified residential and outpatient program for those with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Residents can remain for as long as needed with the minimum length of stay being 28 days.
The Porto Treatment Center is Certified by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and National Accreditation is in process. Primary counselors have master’s degrees and are certified or licensed in substance use disorders and mental health treatment. The Porto Treatment Center offers an in-depth diagnostic assessment, treatment, and referral for ongoing treatment to the next level of care. We are well known to attorneys and local courts for those charged with DUI and other offenses.
We provide low-cost treatment with documented effectiveness. Patients stay longer in this residential program than any other residential/inpatient programs in Maryland.
The Porto Treatment Center is unique in that patients are offered the opportunity to continue working while receiving residential treatment.
